EFCC to Declare Tompolo Wanted
EFCC on Thursday 10th December gave Tompolo one week to appear before it or risk being declared wanted.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has today Thursday 10th December invited former Niger Delta militant leader Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) for questioning.
In a letter from the EFCC, the Commission says it is investigating Tompolo for unclear dealings in relation to the scandal of N13bn Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) university land worth about 13 billion naira, which Tompolo is said to have sold to the federal government under the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
EFCC expects Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo in its office in Lagos, for questioning on 17th December.
Tompolo had reportedly been invited previously but had failed to appear before the Commission in November when he was invited for a similar matter by the Head of Operations at the EFCC.
